STBA YAPARI, in collaboration with several well-known publishers, held the Highlight Literasi Indonesia: Bandung Lautan Buku book exhibition. Supported by institutions such as Mizan Media Utama, Gramedia, BKPC, and IKAPI Jawa Barat, the event aimed to provide educational experiences for the public through books and many more activities.
The exhibition took place for two weeks at the STBA Yapari Campus Bandung. The event officially concluded on May 10th after successfully presenting various programs and activities for visitors.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors were able to explore books from different publishers with discounts of up to 60%. The event also featured seminars, workshops, talk shows, live music, and several competitions for students and the general public.
Although the number of visitors was relatively modest, the event still created an enjoyable and interactive atmosphere.
One of the educational highlights of the event was an MKU session delivered by Dr. Dian Azhari, M.Hum, one of the lecturers from STBA Yapari. The session provided participants with valuable insight.
The exhibition ended with a special book discussion session together with a novel writer, Yusi Alfatih, the writer of Nabastala Juang. During the session, participants had the opportunity to interact directly with the author and learn more about the creative writing process.
Overall, the “Bandung Lautan Buku” Exhibition became a meaningful collaboration between educational institutions and publishers while also encouraging public interest in books and reading activities.
